What do you need to prepare a quote?
Origin and destination, a description of the cargo, weight and dimensions (per piece for oversized cargo), the date it will be ready and your preferred Incoterms. Photos or drawings help for project cargo.
Which countries do you cover?
We have offices in Azerbaijan (Baku), Georgia (Tbilisi) and Kazakhstan (Aktau) and our own teams at the ports of Poti and Alat, operate in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and work with partner hubs in Türkiye, the Netherlands and China.
Can you move oversized and heavy cargo?
Yes, it is our main specialty. We use lowbeds up to 80 t, extendable trailers up to 65 m, modular trailers and SPMT, and railcars up to 220 t. Super-heavy units can travel through the Volga–Don canal (VDSK) and across the Caspian by vessel or barge.
Do you handle route surveys and permits?
Yes. For out-of-gauge cargo we run road surveys, swept-path analysis and feasibility studies, and arrange the permits needed for oversized and overweight loads, plus civil and police escort.
Do you ship dangerous goods?
Yes. We arrange dangerous goods packaging in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and the special permits that DG cargo needs.
What is PSA customs clearance?
Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) projects in Azerbaijan's oil and gas sector have their own customs regime. We clear both PSA and non-PSA shipments.
How does cargo cross the Caspian Sea?
Trucks, trailers and railcars cross on RORO ferries; breakbulk and project cargo go on chartered vessels, mainly between Alat, Aktau and Turkmenbashi.
What is the Middle Corridor?
The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) links China and Europe through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye. We move rail, road and multimodal cargo along it.
Is my cargo insured?
We hold freight forwarders liability insurance. Ask our team about cargo insurance for the full value of your goods.
Which languages does your team speak?
English, Russian, Chinese, Georgian, Turkish and Azerbaijani.
Is Freight Masters ISO certified?
Yes. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by SGS.
